چکیده

Cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL) is associated with an increased risk of developing secondary malignancies, particularly lymphomas. However, the diagnosis prior to CTCL very rare. Herein we present cases two patients diagnosed a CTCL. The first patient was female in her late 50s history diffuse large B-cell (DLBL) breast status post chemo plus radiation who developed poikilodermatous scaly patches on arms and legs one year after DLBL diagnosis. Her condition initially managed as eczema refractory treatment until biopsy performed at outside clinic several years later revealed likely followed by confirmative biopsies demonstrating poikiloderma atrophicans vasculare. She treated acitretin 10 mg five times weekly narrowband UVB twice for 12 treatments, but self-discontinued both. recently initiated monthly extracorporeal photopheresis. second 70s melanoma presented outpatient dermatology evaluation erythematous macules groin pending breast. rash topical therapies demonstrated mycosis fungoides. preferred conservative therapy natural sunlight hydrocortisone, ultimately elected photopheresis disease progressed. response both yet be determined. Diagnostic microRNA profiling in cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL).

Cutaneous T-cell lymphomas (CTCLs) are the most frequent primary skin lymphomas. Nevertheless, diagnosis of early disease has proven difficult because of a clinical and histologic resemblance to benign inflammatory skin diseases. To address whether microRNA (miRNA) profiling can discriminate CTCL from benign inflammation, we studied miRNA expression levels in 198 patients with CTCL, peripheral ...

The authors describe a case of histiocyte-rich B-cell lymphoma (HR-BCL), a variant of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, in a 51-year-old man. The patient presented with large axillary lymphadenopathy. Histopathologic and immunohistochemical examination of lymph node biopsy revealed diffuse effacement of the lymph node architecture by reactive histiocytes and neoplastic CD20 positive B cells. ...
